Returning this year - the amazing musical talent of the C-Sides Band!!!!

Welcome to the 5th Annual Scott Larkin Memorial Golf Outing. On behalf of Lisa and the entire Larkin family we would like to extend our most sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in making this special day successful. A very special thanks to the event organizers including Fran and Kevin Welch, Dave Gilligan, Joe Carillo, Ed Kiernan and Steve Lackner who have all given so much of their personal time over the last 3 months to make sure this event came together again this year. The Larkin family continues to be humbled and thankful to all of you for your friendship, compassion, generosity, and support of The Larkin Children’s Education Fund. It is difficult to believe that it will five years since we lost Scott. Our wonderful friend, brother, husband, and Dad had so much more to still offer and do in his life…at 46 years old he was just getting going. He was enjoying and loving every bit of the life he was living with Lisa - the love of his life and Julia, Jack, and Ryan - the pride of his life. He was taken from us almost instantly, but the impact of his life on those who knew him best and loved him most was immense and everlasting. Still, the emotions of his loss are still powerful and raw as we struggle with trying to rationalize why life sometimes seems so incredibly unfair. God blessed Scott with Lisa who was his everything. Lisa is nothing short of an amazingly strong and loving “mom” to Julia, Jack, and Ryan. Together they have found strength in each other and from the wonderful memories and lessons that Scott left behind. They are smart, caring, kind, and fun kids who adore their Mom, love and miss their Dad, and are always there for each other. We know Scott continues to watch over and burst with pride about his family. The different moments and many memories we each have of Scott throughout the years will always bring smiles to our faces and tears to our eyes. He was “one of a kind”, so please remember and be sure to again share your best “Scott stories” today with each other – nothing would make him happier. Enjoy lots of laughs and drinks as these fun opportunities to spend time among friends like today should be treasured. Please know that once again Scott is raising a glass to you all today with the most profound love and thanks for helping his children. Thank you for your friendship and kindness and remembering Scott and his family in your prayers. We will keep all of you in ours.
